Ricky Levy Park Beachside at the Pass Chritian Harbor
This park is located on the beach next to the Pass Christian Harbor. It has two large Lunch Pavilions with BBQ grills for convenient picnics or parties. The play equipment is located between the pavilions which includes swings, slides and a jungle gym climber. Because this park is on the beach, you get the best of both worlds – beach and playground. There are also two volley ball nets on the beach part of the park. This park just might be the coolest because of its location.
Visiting Pass Christian is alwahow ys a joy! The scenic overlook of the Gulf is spectacular and the people are always friendly. The park located on Highway 90 is one of the best on the Coast. Pass Christian is one of thos places that a weekend could become a way of life. Classy yet Coastal, it defines Southern Beach Hospitatility.
Waveland is home to such natural beauty. This is a wonderful area near Bucanner State Park. It is a grassy marsh land that flows to the Gulf of Mexico. Redfish and other small fish are seen dancing along the banks of the inlet. Many people never get the chance to see the beautiful marshland that is visible on the scenic beach road near the edge of Waveland.
Waveland Beaches have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets. The sky at sunset is an incredible mix of blending colors. I always enjoy walking on the beach near dusk to catch this spectacular light show. Surely the as the westward sunlight catches the flair of New Orleans, it flashes back up into the heavens with the most royal of palettes.
